We will be addressing a major topic which is reasons why being single is better than being with someone who leaves your heart in doubt.
Have you ever been in a relationship with someone and you didn't actually know your stand? The person oozes bae vibes , but somehow you don't actually know if you are dating or not.
A friend reached out to me sometime , telling me she met someone . I was so elated, but when we discussed further, I found out she didn't even know if he considered her his girlfriend or was serious about their dating exclusively. Having gone through a similar experience in the past and learnt my lessons, I told her to summon courage and ask, before she formed deep emotional connection with him. Lo and behold, he said they where just friends woah! All the bae vibes was just friendship oooh yepaa. After she lamented, I told her , I told you so. Bae vibes and talk are not enough. Focus on action and if the person leaves your heart in doubt, it is better to be single.
Secondly, if being with the individual makes you doubt you will experience peace, joy, happiness, or you doubt it will bring improvement and enhancement in core areas of your life, it is not worth it.
Another example is the case of Miracle and Nina in BBNaija. After all that transpired between them in the house , Miracle came on social media to deny her and stated categorically that ''he never said they where dating''. Nina was busy receiving bae vibes without certainty. Do not be dating yourself , thinking you are in a relationship. If it leaves you in doubt, the individual isn't defining things, proud to introduce you as bae and has no corresponding action to back it up etc, quit!
