Rejection dictionary meaning
The dismissing or refusing of a proposal, idea, etc . The action of spurning a person's affections.
I was inspired to write an article about rejection when I tried hooking a young man up to a friend of mine and she rejected him. She was able to decipher that the relationship would not transcend into marriage and decided to not start in the first place. He reached out to me and said he felt hurt and pained that she did not accept him. He has however withdrawn into his shell and refused to try again.
Questions he should ask himself
1. Is withdrawing into his shell the answer?
2. Will he be able to pursue, find his heart’s desire and get married if he gives up?
3. Does his current sad, hurt and pained state benefit him?
FACTS ABOUT REJECTION
Most successful people in business, relationships, billionaires, millionaires, have passed through so many forms of rejection in their lives but refused to give up.
Let’s take Nigeria’s president for instance Buhari. We all know how many times and years he pursued his second presidential ambition without giving up till he finally succeeded.
The solo2hooked brand has also taught me lessons. Some of our success stories, were rejected by their initial matches, but persisted and now, they are happily married.
HANDLING REJECTION
You must learn to love yourself first after God. Take and regard yourself highly and with dignity. That way, if your supposed love interest rejects you, you dust yourself with a positive mindset that it can only get better and move on to bigger and better.
Has your business idea, your job, scholarship applications etc been rejected severally? Never give up. Winners never quit. TRY AGAIN, DREAM AGAIN, TAKE ANOTHER RISK, DATE AGAIN. See you at the top!!!!
