IS THE LENGTH OF COURTSHIP/ DATING DIRECTLY PROPORTIONAL TO THE SUCCESS OF A MARRIAGE?

SOME DAYS BACK I ANNOUNCED MY FIRST SET OF HOOKEES WILL BE GETTING
 MARRIED. (SUPER EXCITED).

While some were quick to offer congratulations, others worried they made up their minds too soon after meeting in a couple of months.
I know some people who dated and courted for years, yet they split after marriage or never got married at all , while some meet and you hear them say the knew from the first moment their partners were the one. It is a dicy situation, so I'm seeking an opinion poll based on general observation around and personal experience.
